Sally Gregoire

Sally Gregoire creates detailed pen and ink illustrations of rural buildings and scenery. She grew up in beautiful Vermont, with pastoral scenes of small-town life providing inspiration for her art. This inspiration informs her as an adult, living in rural Southern communities with differing mountain views and pastoral scenes. Sally has a personal connection with each design she creates, invoked by an area’s rich history, her own family lore, or from a hike or a wander with a loved one, often culminating with the discovery of a historic building to photograph for a future project. Pen and ink art inspires Sally to recreate buildings of the past that have stories, and creating art grounds her amidst the bustle of present day life. Reproducing pen and ink art on sleek, gallery-ready aluminum metal, stationary, and art prints marries her art with present day presentations and techniques.
