Emily Eve Weinstein

After three years of living in a camper, painting the unwinding scenery of the United States and Canada I landed in the Triangle. Once settled in Durham I  worked as a freelance artist creating murals, portraits, illustrations, art instructor and fine artist. I’ve phased out most of the commissioned work to work full-time as a fine artist.

Life-on-the-road developed my passion for painting landscapes. Through the paintings by moonlight I was discovered by a publisher. Since then, Beau Soleil Press has published four art gift books of my work. Also, every year I write, design and make 50 copies of an annual edition that follows my work, the 25-year Handmade Book series.

I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in painting and printmaking,  but most of my art education was obtained in Europe and life in general.
